Consent to Provide Personal Information to Third Parties

This Consent to Provide Personal Information to Third Parties should be read together with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Use Agreement, including the Consent to Collection and Use of Personal Information and Consent to Use of Electronic Payment.

1. Payment Processors

All Ontact Korea services are billed in both USD and KRW. Payments are handled through Payletter, which supports both PayPal and major credit cards for US Dollars transactions. KRW payments should be done through WISE or Korean Bank Transfer. To complete payment processing, Ontact Korea may share the following limited information with our payment processors:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Payment method
  • Transaction details

Purpose: To securely process and verify payments.

2. Exchange Rate

Ontact Korea applies a fixed exchange rate for payments. However, due to fluctuations in global currency markets, this rate may be adjusted without prior notice. The amount transmitted to third-party payment processors will reflect the exchange rate applied at the time of your transaction.

3. Consent to Access Third-Party Data

When you log in or register using a third-party service such as Kakao or Google, you authorize Ontact Korea to access certain personal information made available by those services. This information is used solely to:

  • Create and manage your Ontact Korea account
  • Authenticate your login
  • Provide our services

Ontact Korea does not store your third-party login credentials and will only use the information provided for the purposes outlined in our Privacy Policy.

You may revoke this consent at any time by adjusting your authorization settings through the respective third-party platform.

4. Customs & Shipping Partners

Depending on the destination country and shipping carrier, customs duties or import taxes may apply to your package upon arrival. To ensure proper customs clearance and successful delivery, Ontact Korea may share relevant shipment details with shipping carriers and customs authorities, including:

  • Recipient's name, address, and phone number
  • Package contents, quantity, and declared value

Purpose: To comply with customs regulations and facilitate delivery.

5. Import Taxes & Fees

Ontact Korea acts strictly as a logistics intermediary. All import duties, customs taxes, clearance fees, and any warehouse-related charges due to customs processing or delays are the full responsibility of the recipient.

If such charges are billed to Ontact Korea on your behalf, we reserve the right to request reimbursement. Ontact Korea cannot be held liable for any issues, delays, or returns resulting from refusal or non-payment of customs or import fees.

6. Consent Statement

By submitting a payment or shipping request, you acknowledge and agree that Ontact Korea may share your personal information with the third parties identified above for the stated purposes – including transaction processing, account authentication, customs compliance, and service delivery – at the applicable exchange rate in effect at the time of processing.

This agreement shall be effective from 30-10-2025
