U.S. CPSC eFiling Requirements Effective July 8, 2026

Beginning July 8, 2026, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) will require electronic filing (eFiling) of safety certification information for certain consumer products imported into the United States. This does not create new safety requirements. It simply changes how existing certification information must be submitted to U.S. authorities.
Products Potentially Affected by CPSC eFiling
Products that may require CPSC eFiling include:
- Children's products
- Toys and plush dolls
- Baby products
- Products containing batteries
- Electronic devices
- Charging-related products
- Furniture
- Sporting goods
- Certain textile products
- Other products covered by CPSC regulations
Applicability depends on the product type, intended use, manufacturer information, and U.S. regulations.
K-Pop Merchandise
Most K-Pop albums, photocards, photobooks, and stationery products are not expected to be affected.
